Sponsor 7 Q+As with Rebecca of Ippatsu Salon—where they keep us looking pirty. You know what kind of pirty we mean, the kind that adds a little strut to your walk when you leave the salon… Bad-ass, hot-mama, check-yourself-out-in-the-window-reflection pirty!

1. What are you grateful for today?
That I am accepted, I do not have to hide who I am. Because of this acceptance, it has given me strength and the ability to give strength to others to be who they are.
Bonus Round: I have a partner that supports me 200%. *Thumbs Up*

2. Tell us about one of your friends and what you love about her.
Noél Chase… I call her warrior.
What do I love about her? Hard/Easy question, I love everything! She is pretty much a superhero in my eyes. She is 110% dedicated to everything she commits to, from saving the planet, cooking (food from her garden!), being an athlete, making people body aware and strong with Pilates and on top of everything she was a Wildland Firefighter. She is the best, if you ever get a chance to meet her, do it!

3. Describe one of the best days of your life.
Any day that I was a day maker. Turning up someones day for the good,
is the best.

4. What’s the best lesson you learned from your mother/grandmother?
Wow… I know that I do not stand alone saying  “my grandmother is my hero.”  Inserting a moment of silence while you think about your hero…… It’s okay, I’ll wait.

Julia Bedinger is her name. She taught me to love unconditionally, respect others, use my manners….. I forget sometimes (sorry grandma), and to be kind but true to yourself.

5. We’re all unique. What is your special gift?
Yikes…. this is a hard one. I had to phone a friend. Response: I make people laugh. -Next

6. What could women be doing to make their community a better place?
Supporting each other honestly, openly, and with respect. Doing this, we will be unstoppable.

7. What would you do if you weren’t afraid?
I have given this a lot of thought and to be honest,  the fear of failure is powerful. Although fear keeps me safe but at the same time fear of holds me back from my passions and desires. So if I wasn’t afraid, I would attack things with more confidence, dance in public,  raise my hand and sit in the front row.
