Peggy Prichard is a Champaign native who has made it her life’s purpose to try and figure out just exactly what she’s good at. Growing up in a large Catholic family and feeling a little invisible, she went away to college in Boulder, Colorado to experience life outside of her home town. After spending time in Colorado and California, she moved back to CU with her husband in 1990 and proceeded to raise her two children, work in the family business, become a fitness instructor and began volunteering with a special focus on children and mental health advocacy. Now in her self proclaimed “best decade yet” she is focused on living in the present, letting go of competition and finding joy in everyday occurrences. Her blog focuses on thriving in the “middle years”. She firmly believes that the best is yet to come and aging is more about gaining wisdom than losing physical attributes. And, most importantly, the importance of girlfriends is never to be underestimated!
