Suzanne has been married to Larry for 29+ years, and is mother to 4 grown children with the youngest still in school at the U of I. She is known as Oma to her four beautiful and talented (everyone says that, but this is true) grandchildren and is currently the Director of Customer Relations with One Main Development. Life has gone from the 90 MPH lane to the 45 MPH lane in life. Suzanne was active in the public schools for her children, including her favorites; book chats, room “Mom”, math counts, mentoring, and team sports. She also served on the YoungLife and CU One to One Mentoring steering committees, was a board member to a few other organizations, a treasurer for a couple of projects, organizations and two political campaigns. Suzanne was active in her church teaching Sunday School and Adult Education, along with helping to lead the youth group. Suzanne was a College for Kids Coordinator, leader of two Parkland Adult Education trips and worked as Conference Coordinator at the Office of Sustainability at the U of I. Currently she is still active in PEO, Social Science Club and enjoys an outing or two as a Master Naturalist.
Suzanne loves her family, engaging her senses in new and different places, and finding joy in the most ordinary everyday life.
