1. What are you grateful for today?
So many things…. I am thankful for all of my friends and family that make my life manageable and worth waking up for everyday. The wonderful group of women who I work with everyday who are more family than employees. Definitely my health (just got over the flu) My husband who loves me unconditionally.

2. Tell us about one of your friends and what you love about her.
Wow, choosing just one friend is difficult, but my friend Jeanne comes to mind first. What I love about her is that she finds the best in everything. She is the salt of the earth. She truly loves the simple things in life.  We can tell each other anything and both get it. She is my soul sister (for real).

3. Describe one of the best days of your life.
The day my granddaughter was born.  There is nothing like seeing your daughter become a mother herself and to hold your grandchild in your arms for the first time.

4. What’s the best lesson you learned from your mother/grandmother?
If I had to narrow it down to one lesson mom has taught me… It would be the importance simplicity can play in your life. As a mother and “new” grandmother, there are times when I reflect on how she lives her life.  She understands the difference between needs and wants.  She “gets” that those SIMPLE little things you do and have, are what hold the most meaning.

5. We’re all unique. What is your special gift?
Hmmmm….. Being a business owner and working with all women I think I would say giving women the confidence to know they can be who they want to be and achieve whatever goals they want.  I work with girls/women from 16 to 60.  I love that even though we are all going through different obstacles in our lives we can all learn from each other and support each other in different ways.

6. What could women be doing to make their community a better place?
Be honest with each other and know that we all have the same struggles.

7. What would you do if you weren’t afraid?
Deep question… It seems I have poured my life into my family, work and friends; leaving out time for a hobby.  I mean one of those where you can see the passion in someone’s eyes when they talk about it.  I guess I am afraid of never finding that passion.
