“That’s What She Said ” is a provocative one-night only event that empowers women through the simple act of storytelling.
By creating a safe space for women to share personal stories and be heard, we give them permission to be vulnerable, authentic and brave.
Each “That’s What She Said ” performance is curated to showcase the women who shape your community. A diverse group of women are featured as storytellers, bringing people together to listen, to feel, to connect.
“That’s What She Said ” is a beloved annual event now showing in cities like St. Louis, MO, Peoria, IL, St. Clair County, IL, Indianapolis, IN, our flagship event in Champaign, IL and more; and we are growing!

Empowering women begins with empowering our teens.
That’s What Teens Say is designed to provide girls and young women with opportunities to learn about themselves, their passions and their communication styles, and to help them explore how their unique experiences and attributes can contribute positively to the world.
Young women who participate in the three-day empowerment workshop find a totally immersive (cellphone-free!) program of confidence building exercises, creative writing activities, improv games, and more tools designed to help them explore compassion, connection, and self-expression.
Nominations and applications for young women ages 13 through 18 will be available soon!
