What are you grateful for today?
Everything that makes the world go ‘round! Friends, family, sunshine, sitting on the back porch with a glass of vino and watching the sunsets holding my hubby’s hand.
Tell us about one of your friends and what you love about her.
My mother is one of the strongest women I know and I consider her my best friend. She is always there when I need to vent (which can be a lot) and makes me smile. She will have dinner with me when my husband has late nights at work, take long walks with me and help guide me through tough business decisions with grace.
Describe one of the best days of your life.
The day I married my soul mate, my husband. Our feet in the sand, our closest family and friends to celebrate with and dancing into the night under the stars on the beach in Mexico. Does it get any better than that??
What’s the best lesson you learned from your mother/grandmother?
Everything happens for a reason and we will always make it work, somehow! Good and bad times can come and go – but family is forever. Look for the bigger picture in life and always work towards being a better person each day.
We’re all unique. What is your special gift?
I don’t consider myself a very funny person, but I have a great knack of keeping my husband laughing. I love to hear him laugh.
What could women be doing to make their community a better place?
Encourage everyone around us to reach for the stars… anything is possible and it’s surprising what others, who may lack a little confidence, can do with a little support and encouragement. Even a small smile can go a long way.
What would you do if you weren’t afraid?
Skydive. Just can’t get the courage up to take that jump yet. Maybe one day…
